Mystic-Chocolate is already low in carbs and 'sugar,' but I wanted to create a chocolate-infused nut butter that EVERYONE can in-joy -- omnivore, raw, vegan, diabetic, low-carb and keto. Oh, and it's also paleo friendly :)
The chocolate and butters are sweetened with Lakanto -- the newest zero-glycemic (no aftertaste!) sweetener made with Monk Fruit and Erythritol (sugar alcohol from veggies and fruits). The proprietary process used to create Lakanto makes this sweetener easy to digest. Nuts are activated (soaked and dehydrated) to make them more bioavailable as well as easy to digest.
